Frequent Questions

For all of the beloved introverts and fellow overthinkers
    • 30 minutes : Welcome + Wander

Leave your phone & doubts at the door upon arrival. If that scares you, don’t worry! There will be simple prompts provided to comfort the nerves and guide your conversations.

    • 1 hourish : Dinner + Discussion

Find your seat at the table and settle in. Throughout each course, Kelsi will share a question/prompt to keep the conversation flowing and natural. This requires a space of curiosity, openness and respect as each guest will be invited to share personal stories and perspectives.

    • 30 minutes : Further Connection + Farewells

After dinner, there will be time to continue conversation before you say your goodbyes. Everyone will leave with a simple act of kindness to pass along, a full belly and hopefully, some new friends!

  • Please list any food allergies or dietary restrictions in the details when you buy your ticket. Our Chefs do their best to create adaptable menus for all to fully enjoy!

  • While it sounds scary, it will be totally worth it. Upon arrival, you will be encouraged to leave your phone at the door to foster a present, private and intentional environment. There is something truly special when people fully unplug and spend time together. If you haven’t already, I am excited for you to experience the richness true presence brings.

  • Yes! Our tables offer 10-12 seats to encourage a comfortable environment for sharing a variety of topics and depths in conversation.

We hope to host more suppers the future, so if you do not find a seat at this one, keep an eye out for the next!

  • Of course! While we know it is sometimes more comfortable to not show up alone, we encourage you to invite a neighbor or a new friend that you have been wanting to get to know! We want each table to introduce and nurture as many new connections and backgrounds as possible, so we limit each person to one friend, if wanted. We are confident that the structure of supper will not make the solo-attenders feel alone.

The Backstory

  • It all started with my favorite app, Pinterest. I created a board in college called “Someday Suppers” filled with simple tablescapes that reminded me of home and inspired me to envision a day where I could not only create beautiful tablescapes, but welcome friends and strangers to them.

  • After moving to Orange County with high hopes for new beginnings, I was faced with the unexpected, but not uncommon, challenge of making friends as an adult. As an extrovert, I showed up to a variety of events alone (run club, pickleball, you name it) and often left feeling more disheartened than encouraged.

  • With a deep-rooted optimism for future connections, I decided to create what I couldn’t find. After a few years, a lot of courageous moments and the most supportive connections, I am overjoyed to make a small drop in the happily-growing bucket of in-person gatherings rooted in genuine connection. Thank you to everyone who continues to turn my “somedays” into my reality.
